VRTI - VR Treadmill Interface

Walk, jog, and run in VR with your Bluetooth treadmill

With VRTI (VR Treadmill Interface) you can control your Bluetooth-enabled treadmill and translate its movement into VRChat.

VRTI uses OSC to turn your real walking pace into movement in VRChat, and can also emulate a virtual Xbox controller through XInput. You can control your treadmill from the desktop app or from inside VR: start and stop it, adjust speed, use customizable SteamVR controller bindings, and enable yaw lock to keep walking straight while you look around.

VRTI also tracks your sessions, including distance, steps, and active time. It includes long-term statistics, support for syncing sessions to Strava, and milestone notifications to help you keep track of your progress over time.

VRTI supports many Bluetooth-enabled treadmills, including various KingSmith WalkingPad models and most treadmills that implement the FTMS (Fitness Machine Service) protocol. The supported treadmills list is the best place to start, but it is not exhaustive. If your treadmill can be controlled over Bluetooth through its own app, there is a good chance it may work with VRTI too. If you are unsure, try the free demo first to test compatibility.
